Positive Behaviour Support
Behaviours of Concern (also known as challenging behaviours) are terms used to describe those behaviours that threaten the quality of life and /or the physical safety of an individual or others.
This term is also used to describe behaviour that may interfere with an individual's life.
Behaviour is a means of communication, and all behaviour has a functional element. This short course explores contemporary approaches to minimise behaviours of concern using the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.

- Restrictive practice - What are restrictive practises and when can they be used
- Reporting and Referral
- Responding to critical incidence - the importance of safety, debriefing, self-care and incident reporting.
