Course Outline
This course provides workers within the community services sector, including; education, disability and child, youth & family the knowledge, skills and safe practices to support individuals who require assistance with medication administration. Students completing this course will also learn the importance of complying with legislative guidelines, working within job role boundaries and processes required to manage incidences that they may encounter as part of their role when administering medication.
This course is based on the Department of Health and Human Services induction program and requires a theoretical assessment.
