"Back in June my nana was walking to the doctors with my mum and went into cardiac arrest. The Doctor came out and started performing CPR, I was on a street nearby and when I got there my adrenaline had kicked in and the Doctor was getting tired so I took over. Soon after my nana woke up, she spent 19 days in hospital but fortunately is well now, the Doctors in the hospital said if it wasn’t for our CPR she wouldn’t have survived. At the time I didn’t think about the impact of what myself and the doctors had done but I’m very close to my nana so it meant a lot to me. I’m just grateful I’m required to have a CPR certificate for my job; I know my mum wants to look at doing the course now too."

We're RTO registered!
In January ONCALL Training College became a registered RTO! The college is now able to offer both CPR and first aid courses.
The NDS has recently announced that the professional requirements for a disability support worker no longer mandate a minimum of Certificate 3, which means providers have more flexibility on staff and greater choice for participants.
