Course Overview

This course provides workers within the community services sector — including education, disability and child, youth & family — the knowledge, skills and safe practices to support individuals who require assistance with medication administration.

Students completing this course will also learn the importance of complying with legislative guidelines, working within job role boundaries and processes required to manage incidences that they may encounter as part of their role when administering medication.

This course is based on the Department of Health and Human Services induction program and requires a theoretical assessment. For group bookings this course can be adapted to organisational policies and procedures — contact us for a quote.

All course material is provided. On successful completion of the workshop, participants are given a Certificate of Completion. All courses are delivered by qualified trainers and assessors with relevant sector experience. All courses require an in-class assessment.
